Hi, I’m Christina.
I’m a freelance marketing and communications consultant and the founder of Purple Bean Consulting. I’ve worked in Marketing & Communications for over two decades, managing the marketing function, digital and multi-channel campaigns as well as content marketing for major brands client- and agency-side. My work with international organisations such as Canon, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Apptio, an IBM company and Minderoo Foundation brought me from Europe and the UK to North America, Africa and Asia-Pacific. Most of my work to date has been in B2B, technology and IT, non-for-profit and advertising, working with a variety of brands and industries.
In my personal time, I love travelling and writing. Some of my travel articles have been published in the media and I ran my own travel blog for a few years while I was on the move. I’ve now been based in beautiful Perth, Western Australia for five years - so the blog only gets updated very sporadically.
My goal is to develop and deliver what works – not just ticking boxes to give my clients what they’ve asked for. I pride myself in my ability to come in, assess what needs doing, and make it happen, whether that is putting together a marketing strategy for you or delivering a designated project, production or event.
I draw from the multifaceted experience I have gathered working for organisations ranging from international corporates to small businesses, combined with a strong sense of empathy and intuition. I put myself into the target audience’s shoes to reach them where they are, with a message that will speak to them. Then I come up with a bullet-proof plan that is aligned to your business objectives, and, if you want to, I’ll see it through to the end. Whilst I’m a true all-rounder, I’ll suggest and bring in the right talent for the job as and where needed to fulfil specialist tasks such as in-depth design, video, audio production, app or systems development, PR and more.
